The word Ashtanga is comprised of two Sanskrit words, “Ashta” and “Anga.” “Ashta” refers to the number eight, while “Anga” means limb or body part. Therefore, Ashtanga is the union of the eight limbs of yoga, into one complete, holistic system. These eight-limbs of yoga represent the various branches of the philosophy of the yoga sutras that form the foundation in the Ashtanga Yoga School. Cancellation Policy

Public Class Schedule Cancellations: For cancellations of public classes, we kindly request that you provide notice at least 1 hour before the scheduled class start time. Any cancellations made within this 1-hour window will be considered as a regular sale and will not be eligible for a refund, reimbursement, or reusability. Private Appointments and Specialty Class/Workshop Cancellations: For private appointments and specialty class/workshop bookings, we require cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. This allows us to accommodate other clients who might be on our waiting list and ensures that our resources are utilized efficiently. Refund and Reimbursement Policy: Refunds or reimbursements will not be issued for cancellations that fall within the specified timeframes mentioned above. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, and we encourage you to make every effort to attend the scheduled sessions or provide the necessary notice for cancellations. Booking Reusability: For public classes, if you cancel within the 1-hour window, the booking will not be reusable for future classes and will be treated as a regular sale. For private appointments and specialty classes/workshops, cancellations within 24 hours will not allow for rescheduling or rebooking.
